Message from Executive Director
Since the foundation, Nishimura Advanced Ceramics has been developing new materials and new manufacturing methods all the time based on its ceramic manufacturing technologies from over 100 years’ experience.
Each of our employees is positively learning ceramic manufacturing technologies and continuing to improve the manufacturing capabilities of the company.
As our management philosophy “To realize a more affluent life through the manufacturing of products that satisfy customers” shows, respective employees of Nishimura Advanced Ceramics try to satisfy our customers through the manufacturing of products and to meet the accuracy, delivery dates, and costs required by our customers.
Based on our over 100-years’ experience from the foundation of this company, we have inherited traditional techniques and at the same time tried to develop new technologies all the time. We will continue to improve our products to satisfy our customers and to make progress day by day.

History
1918 | Masajiro Nishimura started manufacturing electromagnetic devices and founded the company as private company. |
1947 | Reorganized the private company and founded Nishimura Seitosho Co., Ltd. at Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto City. Yosakichi Nishimura appointed as CEO. Capital: 198,000 Second plant completed. |
1948 | First increase in capital to 700,000. Third plant completed. |
1967 | Company name changed to Nishimura Advanced Ceramics Head office building renewed. Fourth plant construction started at Yamashina-ku. Sixth increase in capital to 10 mil. |
1968 | Fourth plant completed. Main plant, second plant and third plant transferred to the new plant. |
1970 | Headquarters transferred to Yamashina Plant. |
1981 | Yoshio Nishimura appointed as CEO. |
1994 | Tenth increase in capital to 49,140,000. |

- Train: Get off at JR Kyoto Sta. or Yamashina Sta. and take a taxi (15 min. ride)
